Land Development – Cape Bouvard

Land Development – Cape Bouvard

Category: Land Development
Project: 36 Lot Subdivision
Client: Cape Bouvard
Location: Halls Head
Timeframe: Feb 2013 to Aug 2014

Background

Cape Bouvard Investments (CBI) engaged BE Surveys (BES) to complete a small legal re-establishment survey on one of their lots in the northern portion of their Golden Bay land holdings.

This was completed promptly and in line with the client’s expectations and requirements allowing their clearing contractors to meet the client’s fire management obligations.

Following this initial engagement an opportunity became available for BE Surveys to consult with Mr. Gary Godfrey, Operations Manager, on CBI’s total land holdings in Golden Bay and their current subdivision approvals, and discuss BE Surveys’s ability to play the key role as the principal consulting licensed surveyor.

Challenges

CBI had a number of Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) approvals with a raft of complex conditions in place, as well as an approval to increase the density in an existing subdivision which had partial infrastructure previously installed.

Unique and innovative solutions were requested and required by the client to support them through the subdivision process and BE Surveys were able to consult with the client and utilise their professional knowledge and state of the art equipment to achieve CBI’s requirements.

Outcomes

BE Surveys were able to support CBI to achieve their objectives and successfully deliver a 36 Lot subdivision at the Peelhurst Estate in Golden Bay.
